Life, however, is juxtaposition. Laid against the black of the casket, and in the stillness of the parlor, the cut flowers have never smelled as sweetly nor appeared as luminous. The sorrows of life are plentiful, yet the splendor of nature is infinite and eternal. How wonderful to be reminded of this lesson in the unlikeliest of places.
