The Story
Ethereal vapors from a place of mystery.
As the heavy door to the Victorian mansion creaks and gives way, the nostrils fill with a wondrous medley of aromas. The smell of damp wood and mustiness of old fabric is proof enough that time has not been kind to this abode. And yet, there is something strangely lively about this space, as the sweet smell of fine cognac and butterscotch candies lingers in the misty air. Has it been decades since a presence has existed in these walls, or perhaps only a handful of hours?
