What Is an Embalming Oil?
Despite the name, our Embalming Oil is for the living. It’s a concentrated, super-hydrating lotion oil for body, hair, and bath, made with nourishing oils and free of parabens, palm oil, and harsh chemicals. Unlike heavy creams that sit on the surface, it sinks in within minutes, leaving skin soft, scented, and suspiciously well-preserved.
Perfume Oil vs. Embalming Oil
Same fragrance, mixed from the same master batch. Different job.
Perfume Oil — 10ml roller. Concentrated scent for pulse points. Your everyday perfume.
Embalming Oil — 4oz dropper. That same scent in a hydrating oil for body and hair.
Wear either. Wear both. The embalming oil layered underneath makes the perfume last longer.
Want to smell it first? We don’t make Embalming Oil samples, but because both come from the same master batch, the perfume oil sample smells exactly like this one. Try it in a sample pack.
How to Use
A little goes a long way.
Hair oil / hair perfume: warm a small amount and smooth through mid-length to ends.
Body: start small and build. A few drops on damp skin, sinks in dry.
Bath: a capful under running water.
Pulse points: if you please.
The Story
By the time the work is finished, thousands of feet of perfumed linen will have been used. The fabric will gently come to rest on delicately shut eyelids. It will delicately hug the gentle curves of hips and shoulders, and will tenderly encircle the length of each finger. The goal, of course, is a tribute to the human body: to bring these forms into the afterlife as they lay before the devoted, still beautiful and perfect. Then, as now, few expenses are spared for those we adore.

Made to pair with the matching The Mummy Perfume Oil. Wear the oil for scent, then layer this embalming oil on top to deepen it and make it last. Lovely through the ends of your hair, too.

For body and hair. Not recommended for face.
Shake before using.
Ingredients: Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Sunflower Oil, Essential or Fragrance Oils.
Always do a test patch before using a new product.

I was hoping the cardamom would be more present, but this one smells like a weird vanilla. This one’s not for me, it definitely smells better in the bottle than on me.
I’m not a fan of heavy creams/lotions on my skin or anything too sweet or fresh smelling, but obv. ya girl needs hydration after a shower. This is SO lightweight and melts right into the skin with no sticky afterfeel! It also smells like the perfect blend of vanilla and woodsy where it doesn’t make me sneeze like crazy 😅

Wow! Light in texture. Absorbs quickky. This is such a treat! I purchased the roller ball in the same scent. The scent has a very calming effect on me. The shipping was very quick. The packaging is thoughtful and exceptional!

Can’t get enough of the perfume oil and its delicious and intoxicating scent so I just have to get this embalming oil to pair with it. Would love this scent in wax melts and essential oils for ultrasonic diffusers.
