The Story
By the time the work is finished, thousands of feet of perfumed linen will have been used. The fabric will gently come to rest on delicately shut eyelids. It will delicately hug the gentle curves of hips and shoulders, and will tenderly encircle the length of each finger. The goal, of course, is a tribute to the human body: to bring these forms into the afterlife as they lay before the devoted, still beautiful and perfect. Then, as now, few expenses are spared for those we adore.

This scent is also made as a 4oz Embalming Oil: the same fragrance, mixed from the same master batch, in a dropper bottle for body and hair.
The roller is your perfume. The Embalming Oil hydrates, perfumes your hair, and layers underneath to make the roller last longer.
Pairings
If you love vanilla but hate anything too sugary, this is the one. The Mummy is creamy, warm, and elegant: sweet enough to be beautiful, but not sweet enough to become a crime.

Smells so good, customer service was great, even received an email that there might be a delay in shipment but it still arrived within a good time. The freebies in the package were soooo cute (I got a magnet and two stickers, which are on my fridge and laptop, respectively) and the sample I got also smelled great (The Phantom), the perfume also came with a little card with the art that's on the bottle as well as a description of the fragrance which I thought was cute. Overall very very satisfied with this and would definitely recommend this brand.

I have been obsessed with the age of antiquity since I was a little girl and Egypt has always been the focal point of that obsession for me. I own 3 scents by Seance so far and out of the 3, I reach for The Mummy the most. It's perfection, in my opinion.

Initially tried this scent out with the library sample pack and knew the moment I smelled it I needed the full size. It matches the description and otherwise fits its name perfectly! Came relatively quickly and beautifully packaged with my other items. Highly, highly recommend!

I read an article about archaeologists describing the smell of ancient Egyptian mummies as sweet, earthy and woody and dubbed this aroma as “The Scent of Eternity” and this perfume oil describes it all! Another holy grail perfume oil and will definitely repurchase. I wish there was a body spray and lotion too which I would also purchase in a heart beat.
Blind bought this and absoluetly love it. It smells gourmand, yet ancient with the oud & cardamom notes. It does have a perfumed linen type of vibe. I will wear this a lot!
