The Story
Some dread what skulks in the murk and mire. Indeed, many a sailor has whispered of the formless, scaled beasts that shudder and writhe in the abyssal depths. Consider it another way. Perhaps to those ancient things that lurk below, unchanged through millennia, our world is the more horrific and pitiable. Or perhaps they think nothing of us, and are content merely to dance and sway with nothing but the dark to keep them company.
