The Story
Centuries have passed since this stately cathedral last hosted a congregation. Its practitioners' ways and values are now merely sources of speculation—puzzles that time has made impossible to solve. And yet, the smoke of burnt myrrh and frankincense still clings to the ancient plaster. If they could talk, would these walls tell us of past secrets? Or would they stay silent to a generation unappreciative of ritual?

A dark, resinous blend that captures the atmosphere of an ancient cathedral steeped in incense and time. Frankincense and myrrh rise first...rich, sacred, unmistakable. Followed by a lingering veil of smoke that settles.

Ancient ritual is also a bold signature scent…the notes are on point and if you want to smell like catholic guilt THIS IS THE ONE!!! i love love love these!!
Smells amazing!
Everything was packaged in a lovely way and I felt bad for unwrapping my package. Love the whole mood their box creates and the perfumes received as well. Hoping to try more out in the future.

I was a bit nervous to order this scent, since it hadn’t been available as a roll-on perfume at the time I ordered the library sample pack. However, I’m very glad I took the risk, because this perfume is exquisite! Came relatively quickly and beautifully packaged with my other items. Highly, highly recommend!
Dark and hauntingly mysterious. Definitely on my repurchase/restock list! Will keep my fingers crossed that this will be available in the Embalming Oils line in the future!
