The Story
As the light dims, it is said the other senses heighten as a response. Amidst the darkness and smoke of the Victorian opium den, you find yourself flooded by a new awareness of the scents around you. The room now swirls with a miasma of myrrh, patchouli, old wood, coffee, and vanilla. As your limbs become heavy, consider a truth of human experience: we often only encounter the new when we abandon the familiar.

This scent is also made as a 4oz Embalming Oil — the same fragrance, mixed from the same master batch, in a dropper bottle for body and hair.
The roller is your perfume. The Embalming Oil hydrates, perfumes your hair, and layers underneath to make the roller last longer.
Pairings
If you’re drawn to incense-heavy, resinous scents, this is an easy choice. It leans deep and warm, a touch of sweetness without becoming overwhelming.
Pairs well with something lighter or floral to create contrast—or with the Mourning Compact to keep it close.
