Parlor Ghost is one of our originals—the kind of scent that quietly haunts a room and refuses to leave.
We coined the name, set it loose into the world, and it behaved exactly as it should… appearing everywhere, charming everyone, and lingering long after it’s gone.

The Story
There is something in this room.
Emanating somewhere among heavy velvet curtains and damask wallpaper is a rich, lively aroma that betrays the parlor’s stillness. Black tea, dried lavender, and bergamot zest hang in the air. The mind begins to wander—perhaps this is not the scent of something, but of an unseen someone hoping to be noticed.
Also comes as an Embalming Oil
This scent is also made as a 4oz Embalming Oil — the same fragrance, mixed from the same master batch, in a dropper bottle for body and hair.
The roller is your perfume. The Embalming Oil hydrates, perfumes your hair, and layers underneath to make the roller last longer.
Pairings
If you’re buying for someone and have no idea what they like, this is your safest bet. Parlor Ghost doesn’t overwhelm. It lingers politely… and then follows them home.

Parlor ghost is that phantom smell that hits your nose in the middle of the night in a dark hallway of your house. It is familiar and completely feminine; it's also a scent that evolves as you wear it. Smelling it straight from the roller is deceptive; the bergamot is strong at first but mellows out as you wear it. I love this scent!

My favorite scent
I love love love everything I received! Parlor Ghost smells amazing and the packaging is so cute. They gave me a crystal, a sticker, cute bags, and a sample of a perfume I absolutely will be buying at some point.
Reallt great scent. I smell the lavender alot but as it dries down, it just feels fresh and a little sweet. Very pleasant.
Love this scent! Addicting and it lasts a while. I keep on smelling myself to feel grounded and relaxed. May need a full size perfume of this one.

An old favorite. Brings back wonderful memories. You never know how to explain it, but it smells like a haunting. An almost powdery floral and hints of tea vapors and old books in a curtained parlor. The curtains have no doubt soaked up the smells and essence of all the people come and gone. It’s 100% a scent of stillness and curious, watchful eyes; soft footsteps and ghostly whispers. Dried lavender buds that have been buried deep into cushions and have left their scent behind. It’s comforting and unsettling at the same time. It’s beautiful.

This little portable perfume oil is so ideal! I got the full size but wanted a travel size/touch up one too for on the go, and this is perfect. Im so happy I found this brand and this scent, its so me and smells incredible. I got The Library a while back and tried all of the scents and this was by far my favorite. i have this in both the perfume and elbalming oil. absolutely takes me to another me to anither world when i wear it. very unique and makes you smell like a london fog with lavender syrup.
This is one based on reviews, a lot said was a safe blind buy and that would work great on everyone. I know it’s one of Seance’s top sellers. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a great scent, but I don’t agree it’s a safe blind buy for everyone.
All fragrances are going to wear differently on everyone’s unique body chemistry, and for me, it was quite lavender forward when I was suspecting a more tea heavy scent. It’s a pretty and comforting scent- I like to wear it around the house or it it on before bed as a way to settle in and get cozy, but it is more floral forward on me specifically so if you’re wary of a lavender note then just something to note!
This is absolutely amazing, definitely one of my new go-to scents. I will be purchasing the perfume bottle when I run out of the product in the roller! 10/10 recommend. I put it on my pulse points, the back of my neck, and behind my ears. Such a beautiful scent.
