The Story
There was a time when this opera house glittered with privilege and the air was filled with song. Today, it is defined by an uncanny silence, but something else yet lingers. To some, it is a faint wisp of cognac and perfume. To others, it is the regret of lives wasted, which now clings to velvet no one dares to touch.
Pairings
If you like romantic gothic scents that feel elegant, haunted, and a little tragic, The Phantom is a strong choice. Wear it alone for a polished dark warmth, or layer it with Memento Mori or The Wolf when you want the opera house to become even less safe.

What an amazing and beautiful scent! The first time I smelled it, I was instantly transported into an abandoned theater that had ghost stories to tell. I love perfumes that tell a story and the wear on this quite literally lasts ALL day!!

This is my personal favorite. I LOVE the scent of this one so much I haven't stopped using it yet.
I was a bit nervous to order this scent, since it hadn’t yet been released at the time I ordered the library sample pack. However, I’m an incredibly big fan of the Phantom of the Opera (in all forms) and otherwise liked the description, so I took the risk… I’m SO glad I did! This perfume is phenomenal and smells exactly as described. Came relatively quickly and beautifully packaged with my other items. Highly, highly recommend!
After trying a sample from the Penny Dreadfuls sample pack, it was an instant hit so I bought the full size bottle. In my POV, it smells like an old and dusty abandoned theater, where the chandelier, floors, stage, velvet curtains and seats collect dust over the years, the smell of bourbon, sandalwood and rose that still lingers in the air and there seems to be an unknown, vengeful presence lurking in the establishment. Definitely worth the purchase and will definitely repurchase! I hope this perfume comes in an Eau de Parfum version or room and body spray in the future.
